We stayed at Southern Grampians Cottages for 2 extra nights and it was a fantastic experience. The cabins were immaculately clean, quiet, and perfect for relaxation. The fully self-contained cabins had everything we needed, from a well-equipped kitchen to luxurious amenities like a spa bath and fireplace. The decor was beautiful, representing Australian native elements, and the little touches like quality linen and bath products made us feel right at home. The property was surrounded by kangaroos and wallabies, adding to the Australian feel. The location was great, with walking tracks in the Southern Grampians and easy access to Halls Gap and other surrounding areas. The hosts were extremely hospitable and provided great recommendations for places to visit.

the cabin was cozy and equipped with an enclosed fire box, perfect for those chilly nights. the hosts went above and beyond to ensure a warm welcome, even lighting the fire before my late arrival. the location was ideal, with picturesque views of Mt Sturgeon.

I did find that the township in the area lacked a significant amount of amenities.

We got great value for our money at Southern Grampians Cottages. The room was cozy and had a full kitchen and deep spa, making our stay comfortable and relaxing. The location was also ideal for senior people like myself, as it was just a short walk into town, making it easy to explore and enjoy the local shops and attractions.

It would have been even better if the children working there had offered some assistance with carrying our luggage, as it can be challenging for us seniors to manage on our own.

The cottage provided basic pantry items and a good selection of teas. The grounds were well manicured, with great local wildlife. The location was close to nearby bushwalking options and an easy day trip to other attractions.

The master bedroom in our cabin was a bit cramped when our toddler woke up in the night and wanted to join us.

We were even treated to the delightful surprise of seeing a kangaroo right outside our kitchen window one morning. The office had a great selection of brochures for day excursions, and the Halls Gap zoo was just a scenic one-hour drive away. The cottage itself was spacious and immaculately clean, with all the cooking facilities we needed. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly and the spa bath was a wonderful bonus. The staff were incredibly helpful and pleasant, and the little touches like the flower arrangement and chocolates made us feel very welcome. The cabins were cozy and quiet, providing a relaxing atmosphere, and the bathroom was a nice size. Dunkeld was a fantastic base for exploring the Grampians, with great cafes and restaurants and excellent value for money accommodation. The owners clearly took great care of the property, from the well-maintained gardens to the lovely lit fireplace upon our arrival. We enjoyed fresh free-range eggs and watching the birds in the aviary. our stay was absolutely fantastic and we couldn't have asked for more.

The apartments at Southern Grampians Cottages are like a cozy home away from home. I loved having my own kitchen, complete with a fridge, oven, stovetop, and microwave. It made me feel like a master chef! Plus, some cottages even had a 2-person spa bath or a patio, giving it that extra touch of relaxation.

The only thing I personally didn't enjoy was the shower in the private bathroom. But hey, that's just me.

Great sized cabin with all the essentials and more. Conveniently located near town and pub, perfect for outdoor activities. Thoughtful touches like pre-chopped wood, stocked cupboard, and condiments. Beautiful garden setting and friendly hosts. Loved the spa, fireplace, and optional breakfast hamper.

We had a fantastic time at this hidden gem in the countryside. The cottages were well-appointed and offered everything we needed for our adventure getaway. The kitchen supplies were generous and the spacious living area allowed us to relax comfortably. The tranquil setting and large grounds provided ample space for outdoor activities, including a great volleyball space. Each cottage had its own verandah and benches, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful surroundings from different spots. The free Wi-Fi was a big plus, keeping us connected throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a fantastic stay at the cottages! the native gardens are beautifully maintained and the cabins are recently refurbished, spacious, and equipped with all the basics. the owners, George and Carolyn Fitzpatrick, deserve credit for the impressive gardens. We also loved the wood BBQs and the ample supply of wood and kindling. the cabins are well equipped with heating, a slow combustion fire, and reverse cycle A/C. the location is perfect, with easy access to the Arboretum and stunning mountain views. a credit to Southern Grampians Cottages and we will definitely be returning!
